Medium Base candle socket for chandeliers and wall sconces. This socket is specifically designed to allow a medium base candle cover to slide over the top and uses E26 (larger base) bulbs. Adjustable from 4" to 5.5" tall for easy installation and adjustment. The cardboard insulator is also included. Medium base (E26) is sometimes referred to as Edison or standard base.
Precaution: Before you attempt to work on the parts of an electric fixture, please remember that you must always disconnect or unplug the fixture from any source of electricity. For chandeliers and sconces we recommend turning off the breaker. Simply turning the lamp "off" may not protect you from an electrical shock. If you are not sure how to safely disconnect your lamp or fixture from its electrical source, you should contact a licensed electrician for further instructions.
