What's Our Story!

Lumiere Candles was founded by husband and wife, Paul and Lisa Keyes. Paul is a native of Ireland and Lisa grew up in Rhode Island. In 2006 we founded our business while living in Georgia to address a very specific need. We were at first involved in the antique lighting restoration business and discovered that it was hard to locate excellent quality candle covers to satisfy the high quality demanded in the antique lighting restoration market. Beeswax candle covers in particular are used extensively in this market. As a result we embarked on a quest to discover how to manufacture these at the consistent high quality that we required. Little did we realize that it would not take long before we would be shipping extensively to designers, manufacturers, restorers, and homeowners throughout the U.S. and internationally. Our current home and head office is located in Palm City, Florida, and we ship our products from both Florida and North Carolina.

What makes our company and our products different? We take great pride in our company, our commitment to customer service and in our products. All of our beeswax candle covers are individually hand dipped and drips are then individually added by hand. This is a process that requires patience and the touch of a craftsman. Unlike many of our competitors, none of our finished beeswax candles are the product of a mold so no two will look exactly alike. These are truly handmade, one of a kind products.

For our extensive resin collection we have spent time searching for the most realistic looking products and we believe that we have found them. With realism in mind, we have also developed our own exclusive line of resin candles. We think that you will agree that these candles have the most authentic simulated wax look that you can find anywhere.

Our products are available through this website to retail customers located throughout the United States. Our shopping cart is set up for U.S. sales only but we are happy to ship to any location in the world,  However, we frequently ship internationally and as far afield as Australia. Therefore, if you wish to purchase our products please contact us and we will be happy to arrange for shipment to anywhere in the world.
