Description

Custom height Medium Base (Edison) candle covers. We will custom manufacture them to your exact height specifications up to 12" tall. Medium base sockets are the largest sockets found on lighting fixtures designed for the U.S. market. They may also be called 'Edison' or 'Standard' sockets and they will use E26 base bulbs. If your required height is not shown please select one of the "Other custom height" options in the drop down height menu. Then contact us or use the order notes section at checkout to specify your requested height. If using the order notes section please do not use PayPal to check out because this bypasses our checkout process.

* Precaution:  It is extremely important to install beeswax candle covers correctly to ensure that they do no melt. For help determining the correct height size please be sure to measure carefully. Please note that custom heights are non-refundable - please carefully read all specifications below.

Details & Specifications

  • Interior Measurement: 1-3/16"
  • Exterior Measurement: 1-3/8"
  • Use maximum 25 watt incandescent bulb *
  • When using incandescent bulbs the candle cover should be installed perfectly level with the top of the socket
  • You may safely use any wattage LED bulb
  • Not recommended for use with shades or inside an enclosed fixture unless using LED bulbs
  • Hand-made to order using your specifications
  • Please note that custom heights are non-refundable
  • Please allow 10-15 business days for completion

I Love them and Keep Ordering These!

I lived in a traditional house, and one of my chandeliers had beeswax candle covers. In keeping with an old-world style, the bases were honey colored. After 10 years, I wanted to brighten up my room and ordered ivory ones as a replacement. After another 10 years, we moved, and I kept the lighting fixture. The electrician damaged one of the covers during the move, and the top had a split in the top. I ordered a replacement and then decided to order all 6. They came quickly, and I love them. The older color seems to appear more white. Only ivory or honey were available as options this time.
